Booking an appointment

Booking step by step, the difference between walk-in and video slots, what to do when no slots show, and paying.

Updated 8 days ago · 92 views

Booking takes a couple of minutes: choose the doctor, choose a time, confirm with an OTP, and pay if the clinic asks for payment up front.

Booking, step by step

  1. Open the clinic's website or app.
  2. Choose the doctor you want to see. Their speciality and consultation fee are shown.
  3. Pick a date. Only days that doctor consults on are offered.
  4. Pick a time slot. Walk-in and video consultation slots are listed separately — check which you are choosing.
  5. Enter your mobile number and confirm with the OTP.
  6. Review the summary — doctor, date, time, fee — and confirm.
  7. Pay, if the clinic collects payment at booking.

You then receive a confirmation SMS. If it is a video consultation, that SMS also carries your one-tap link to join.

Video consultations cannot be booked at the front desk — you have to book them yourself, because you have to accept the video-consultation agreement and only you can do that.

If no slots are showing

  • The doctor may not consult that day. Try another date.
  • Online seats may be full. Clinics keep some appointments back for the counter, so a day can be full online while the clinic can still fit you in — phone them.
  • It may be a holiday. Closures remove slots.
  • Slots may not be open that far ahead. Try a nearer date.

Paying

Depending on the clinic, you either pay online while booking or at the counter when you arrive. If you pay online, your receipt appears with the appointment.

An appointment showing Pending usually means payment did not complete. Sort that out before the day — a pending booking may not hold your slot.

Booking for someone else

Add them as a family member on your account and book on their behalf. The appointment appears in your list, and you manage and join it from there.

After booking

  • A confirmation SMS, carrying the join link for a video consultation.
  • A reminder before the appointment.
  • The booking in My Appointments, where you can reschedule or cancel.

If no SMS arrives, check the appointment in your account before assuming it failed.
