Add-ons are optional capabilities you switch on top of a module. Usage limits are the allowances your tier includes. They are related: some add-ons carry their own allowance.
How add-ons work
- They attach to a module — most to OPD.
- They are billed on top of your subscription, not instead of it.
- They can be switched on and off as your needs change.
- Some are enabled per doctor rather than clinic-wide.
You manage them from Billing in your account menu.
The add-ons
Digital prescriptions
Lets doctors write and sign prescriptions on screen, producing a PDF the patient can open. Controlled separately for walk-in and video visits — see Writing and signing prescriptions.
Video consultation
Adds video appointments: video slot rules, an embedded call for doctor and patient, and SMS join links.
Not currently available for self-service purchase. If you want it for your clinic, talk to us.
AI Pack
Voice dictation for prescriptions plus suggestions while writing, with a pooled allowance of AI events shared across your enabled doctors.
Not currently available for self-service purchase. See AI Pack: voice dictation and suggestions.
White-label patient app
Your own branded patient app, rather than patients booking through a browser.
Usage limits
Every tier includes allowances. The ones that matter day to day:
| Allowance | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Appointments per day | How many bookings you can take in a day. |
| Doctors | How many doctors your plan covers. |
| Locations | How many places you consult from. |
| Module-specific | Pharma dispensings, Lab test orders, HMS beds and so on. |
What happens when you exceed one
Nothing stops working. Going over an allowance is charged per unit as overage rather than blocking bookings — the alternative would be turning patients away mid-clinic, which is worse than a small charge.
But overage is priced to be a buffer, not a plan. If you exceed the same allowance every month, moving up a tier is usually cheaper. Check the usage section before assuming.
Customising limits
If you need more of one specific allowance without a full tier change, that can sometimes be arranged. Look under Billing → Usage limits, or talk to us.
Watching usage
Open Billing and look at the usage section: consumption against each allowance for the current period.
Check it monthly. The two useful signals are consistently near an allowance — upgrade — and consistently well under one — you may be on too large a tier.
