Receptionist Dashboard & Daily Operations

Dashboard Overview

Your dashboard shows today's key metrics:

  • Today's Appointments — Total count and breakdown by status
  • Check-ins — Patients who have arrived
  • Pending Payments — Outstanding payment collection
  • Quick Actions — Book appointment, register patient

Appointment Status Colors

  • Green (Paid) — Payment completed
  • Yellow (Pending) — Awaiting payment
  • Red (Cancelled) — Appointment cancelled
  • Blue (Completed) — Appointment finished

Booking Appointments

  1. Click Book Appointment
  2. Search for existing patient or register new one
  3. Select doctor and appointment type
  4. Choose date and available time slot (walk-in or teleconsultation)
  5. Process payment (online or mark as pay-at-clinic)
  6. Confirm booking

Patient Registration

  1. Click Register Patient
  2. Enter patient phone number
  3. Fill in patient details (name, DOB, gender, email)
  4. Add family members if needed
  5. Save registration

Payment Processing

  • Online Payment — Patient pays via Razorpay
  • Pay at Clinic — Mark as pending, collect at visit
  • Receipts — Generate and print payment receipts

Cancellations & Refunds

  1. Find the appointment
  2. Click Cancel
  3. Select reason and confirm
  4. Refund is processed based on clinic policy
