Treatlly is organised into modules. Each is subscribed to separately, so you pay for what you actually run rather than for a suite you use a tenth of.
Most clinics run OPD and nothing else. The other three exist for clinics that have grown into them.
The four modules
OPD — outpatient
The core product, and where nearly everything in this help centre applies:
- Appointments and slot rules
- The patient check-in queue
- Prescriptions
- Payments, refunds and financial reporting
- Your clinic's booking website
- Patient accounts and family members
If you run an outpatient clinic, this is the module you need.
HMS — inpatient
Wards, beds and admissions, for clinics with inpatient capacity. If you have no beds, you do not need it.
Pharma — pharmacy
Medicine stock, purchase orders and dispensing. For clinics running their own pharmacy counter, not for prescribing — prescribing is part of OPD.
Lab — diagnostics
Test catalogue and test orders, for clinics with their own lab. Ordering an investigation on a prescription is part of OPD; this module is for actually running the lab.
How modules relate
Modules are independent subscriptions. Points worth knowing:
- OPD is the foundation. The others assume patients and appointments exist.
- Tiers are per module. A large OPD and a small Pharma is a perfectly normal combination.
- Adding one changes nothing else. Your OPD plan and price are untouched.
- They can be switched off. A module you stop using can be dropped.

Capabilities switched on within OPD
Some things behave like small modules inside OPD, enabled per clinic:
- Digital prescriptions — on-screen prescribing, controlled separately for walk-in and video visits.
- Clinic flow — the in-clinic token queue.
- Patient intake — patients supplying details before arriving.
- ABHA / health ID — India's national digital health identity.
These are switched on for your clinic rather than bought off a shelf. If one is missing and you want it, talk to us.

Adding a module later is immediate and requires no migration, so there is no advantage in buying ahead.
